Uplifting Young Women and Girls

The life cycle of a women has been described as Maiden, Mother and Crone. Maidens are in formation. They are discovering themselves as women and making choice that will effect their lives for the rest of their lives. This is the time for deep caretaking of Maidens by the Mothers and Crones in a community. The Maidens Weekend brings women, ages 11-18, together to experience what deep caretaking and community look like. Our devoted core team guides the Maidens through themes of  authentic belonging, setting healthy boundaries, powerful decision making, honoring their bodies, and creating and maintaining community for each other. We access nature, art, movement, rest and play in our age appropriate programming. Healing arts practitioners lead group meditation and mindfulness practices.
