Are there private quarters available?
No, all quarters are shared quarters.

Do I need to bring my own bedding?
no. but if you have bedding that will make you more comfortable feel free to bring it along.

Who’s This Weekend For?

The maiden’s weekend is for woman, and woman-identified attendees ages 10-18, who would like to engage in a weekend of self-exploration, relaxation and connection with other young women and mentors

I am a trans-woman. This is a safe place for me?
Yes.


Are there health services available at maidens?
We will have an on call mental health professional and registered nurse on available. If you have additional needs please indicate your needs during registration process.

I am an introvert and have some concerns about becoming overwhelmed with people. Is this a safe space for me?
Yes, there are many places to find solitude and plenty of self-guided time in the schedule to take the space you need. Circles are also a smaller group environment in which to interact with people.

Medical Needs

I have mobility issues can you accommodate?
Yes. Please indicate your needs during registration process.

How will you address the Covid19 virus?
We ask all attendees to evaluate their health and risk of complications from a possible infection before joining us. We will support your individual safety plan to the extend that we are able. If you are experience any signs of illness please do not attend maidens weekend.

 

Activities

Are there any activities I’m required to participate in?
All activities are opt in,
however, if you wish to experience the full power of the weekend we recommend you participate in all the group offerings.

leaving the retreat grounds is strictly prohibited. If an attendee needs to leave the weekend they should notify a core team member and arrangements will be made for their departure.

Food

Can I bring my own food?
Yes. We do ask that food be stored in airtight containers to avoid attracting critters.

Can you accommodate my dietary restrictions?
For the most part yes. Please indicate your needs during registration process.

Are all my meals included in the weekend?
Yes, and we will have the “Free Will” cafe with snacks and beverages available in between meals. Don’t worry girl. There will be plenty of food!

Safety

alcohol and drugs of any kind are not permitted. if you have prescription medication that needs to be checked in with our nurse upon registration.

no weapons of any kind will be allowed on the ceremonial grounds. violence of any kind (physical or emotional) will not be permitted. we take the safety of everyone on a pollinate weekend seriously. if you are having a conflict with someone you cannot manage, help is available, just ask.

maidens weekend is a safe and sacred place, confidentiality is requested and expected.

Payments & Refunds

Is there a payment plan available?
all maidens attend the weekend without paying. if you have the means and would like to support the work feel free to donate here so that we can get another maiden on the weekend.

What is your cancellation policy?
if a registered maiden cannot attend please notify us immediately and no later than one week out of the retreat. we have limited capacity and a waiting list and would like to offer that slot to another maiden if possible.

Check In

Where do I check in?
You will check in at main building on the property (follow the signs when arriving) starting anytime after 3pm on Thursday. Registration will be open until 10am on Friday. We highly encourage you to arrive before Opening Ceremony on Friday at 10:30. Check in may not be staffed after 10am on Friday.

Can I get my tent info prior to arriving?
we will provide a maiden’s pack of info before the weekend with all relevant information.
